Where Psychology Meets Growth

My Journey So Far
From Kuwait to San Diego, my path has been shaped by curiosity, discipline, and a passion for understanding how psychology and wellness influence human growth. Through internships, academic work, and hands-on projects, I’ve explored how mental health, physical health, and communication connect. This page outlines the experiences that have shaped me into the person and future therapist I am becoming.

Internships & Real-World Experience
Fawziya Al Sultan Mental Health & Therapy Clinic
At Fawziya Al Sultan Mental Health & Therapy Clinic, I had the opportunity to shadow licensed therapists and observe real client sessions. This experience showed me how powerful therapy can be in transforming people’s lives. It strengthened my passion for clinical psychology and confirmed my goal of working with children and adolescents in the future.]
PyroFitness – Marketing & Wellness
PyroFitness, our family-owned fitness brand launched during the pandemic, taught me how closely physical and mental health are connected. I managed marketing, customer communication, and community engagement. This experience helped me understand how exercise routines reduce stress, improve mood, and build resilience — a perspective I hope to integrate into my future mental health practice.
Kenzi World – Research & Creative Strategy
At Kenzi World, I worked on R&D, social media strategy, and video editing. This helped me develop strong communication skills, creativity, and an understanding of how people connect emotionally with brands. These skills now support the way I approach mental health outreach and awareness.
Project &Achievement's
Mental Health+ Fitness concept development
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve focused on combining psychology and physical wellness. I’ve completed projects centered on stress reduction, emotional regulation, and healthy routines — all tied to building long-term well-being.
Academic Success & Leadership
At the University of San Diego, I’ve worked with diverse teams across multiple courses, strengthening my communication, cultural understanding, and leadership skills. These experiences helped me grow as a student and as a future therapist.
Community Impact Projects
I’ve participated in assignments and presentations promoting mental health awareness, cultural identity, and personal growth. These projects helped me understand the importance of empathy and meaningful human connection.

What's Next?
My next step is to complete my master’s in Psychology and continue into a doctoral program specializing in child and adolescent therapy. Over the next few years, I aim to gain clinical experience, build a strong network of mentors, and eventually open a practice that combines mental health services with physical wellness.
My goal is simple: to make therapy accessible, comforting, and transformative.
